About Claybrick Pottery – Noam Ash
Noam’s style incorporates swift gestures on the potter’s wheel to create sound, lively vessels with an emphasis on functionality.
He received a three year diploma of Art, Craft, and Design, majoring in Clay from the Kootenay School of the Arts in Nelson, BC, followed by an apprenticeship under Pamela Nagley Stevenson. He has attended workshops by Clary Illian, Bruce Cochrane, Alison Feargrieve, and Paul Mattieu, and conducted independent studies at Park West Ceramics in Chicago, IL.
Noam’s studio is found at the end of Claybrick Road in Winlaw, British Columbia.
